BC WINGS

Traditionally for technical divers, buoyancy compensator (BC) wings are now more commonly used. Attached to the body by a harness, wings provide greater lift and buoyancy to the diver’s back. This balances out the weight of the cylinder and also allows for a horizontal and generally more comfortable position in the water. Aqua Elevation supply two types of wings, the technical diving BC and the sport BC. All wings are supplied with two inches of webbing for secure fastening and are designed to cross over the divers shoulders and down their sides, plus the chest and waist band. Eight D-rings, for side mounting cylinders, are fitted as standard and loops and quick release brackets can be added to suit customer requirements. Lifting a minimum of 75lb, the professional stainless steel back-plated buoyancy compensators are versatile and designed to support up to three cylinders.
